Introducing New Spring Fashions!

Introducing a new collection of re-purposed clothing items, purses, and lace headbands for your spring wardrobe and weddings and a gorgeous vintage lace wedding dress in my shop

Denim and Lace, how I love thee! Every girl needs the perfect denim jacket and this one of a kind piece offers a vintage doily on the back and lace fringe trim. Perfect for layering over your favorite shirt or flannel, as the days are starting to warm up, yet you still need a light weight jacket.

Several vintage lace dream catchers have been added to my shop, along with this two toned denim dress, with lace fringe and crocheted lace belt. It is shown here with an optional burlap and lace brooch pin. The brooch pins make great, unique Mother's Day corsage for the rustic mom and it's something that she will wear more than once, since it can be pinned to her favorite denim jacket, dress, or shirt, adorn a purse, tote bag, etc. (They come with a combination brooch pin and alligator clip on the back.)

The dress is a lightweight denim that will be cool for spring and summer wear and would be cute with boots or sandals.

Here's the front view of the jacket, with another optional brooch pin. (The brooches are in separate listings, than the clothing items.)

This gorgeous vintage lace wedding dress is also available! I have several wedding dresses that I cut up for the lace and trim, but this dress is too pretty to cut up. It's layers of ivory lace and so pretty in person. Originally a size 12, we believe it has been altered and would fit someone about a 9/10.
I've had fun creating some unique and one of a kind purses!

This is a corduroy purse with lace rosettes and fringe.
I've been carrying a denim and lace cross body, similar to this one on the days I go junkin'. I call it the Lorraine bag, because I found the vintage lace at an estate sale for a crafter named Lorraine. It's light weight and holds the necessities - wallet, phone to keep in touch and show off what you found on the junk trail, keys, sunglasses and lip gloss. Upcycled belts form the handles on some of the purses. It's a great bag to throw over your neck and go to the flea market and antique shopping!

This one has long lace fringe on it. Makes you want to twirl around and have fun! There are several different styles of the purses available.
I've also got several burlap round-bottom bags that have been adorned with vintage doilies, lace, buttons and doilies. This one is in turquoise and blue,
and there a couple of different ones in pink tones.
"What if I fall? Oh, but my darling, what if you FLY?" - e.h. This quote is featured on  two different tote bags and pillows. I have had several people give these as graduation gifts. The bags would make great gift bag to wrap another gift in or could be a stand alone gift for a graduating senior this year.
There are LOTS of new burlap and lace headbands in my shop! Most of these are available in child size (fit babies to teens) although there are a few larger adult sizes. The headbands are stretchy lace and would also work for flower girls to wear in your rustic wedding.

Here's a few examples  - several more colors available in my shop.

Christmas Time is Coming!

I've been trying to wait till November to really start talking about Christmas! So, now I'm excited to share a few new items in my etsy shop!

There's an eclectic mix of items from rustic lariat rope Christmas wreaths and cowboys and cactus pillow covers to shabby chic / French Country pillows and tote bags, and gold glittery bird cage centerpieces featured in this round. Still in production and in need of being photographed are new burlap stockings and additional pillows and totes, so check back soon for those!

Also, for anyone local, I will be set up with Gussie the Glamper at the Starry Nights Art Studio and Vintage Rose Venues for a holiday open house on November 21st. Angea, with Rooster Tails will again be joining me with her handmade items and we are excited about this opportunity to set up together with Christmas items (and maybe a few last minute Thanksgiving decorating sale items.) I'll be sharing more details soon, but mark your calendars now!

Gypsy FarmGirl Hand Made Christmas items

There are several rope Christmas wreaths with an assortment of Christmas greenery, pine cones, and berries. Some feature a burlap bow and poinsettias, all while keeping with a rustic, country theme, perfect for your western home decor.

How about a little turquoise and red? Y'all knew I would have some turquoise thrown in to Christmas, right?

Here's a wider view from my photo shoot this week.

Who's loving plaid this year? I like it most all the time, but the trend setters seem to say that its "in" this year. I'm also loving these Christmas camper / glamper tote bags! The camper is "parked" by a decorated Christmas tree. The totes are great for a stand alone gift or you can use them as a gift sack for the glamping friend of yours!

This glamper sports some green fringe, because if loving fringe is wrong, we don't want to be right!

Giddy up pillow covers featuring Cowboys and Cactus
I have several different centerpieces made in gold glittery bird cages. Each arrangement comes with Christmas greenery and a battery powered votive candle and can be set flat on a table or used as a hanging arrangement.

This birdcage has a gold glitter owl nestled among the Christmas greenery and berries. There's even a little mistletoe included, if you want to strategically hang this arrangement where you want a kiss!

This arrangement is very nature inspired with the plaid bow, pheasant feathers and berries.
Here's a couple of the other ones and you'll notice the pillows in the background. They are actually pillow covers that will fit your 18 inch pillow form or freshen up your old pillows before your holiday guest arrive! There is a coral / rustic red damask print and the "Giddy Up" pillows featuring cowboys and cactus.

Now, for a shabbier, French country look! This is a small zipper bag that would be a great makeup bag, pencil case, organizing items in your purse, you name it. I  love the quote by e.h. - "What if I fall? Oh, but my darling, what if you FLY? This bag features a heart with wings, with a vintage lace doily forming the heart.
Here's some of the French, Letters from Paris pillow covers

and more of the large tote bags.

Here's a gift giving idea - use the bag as your gift wrap and include a pillow and pillow covers. Vintage pattern paper serves as a fun and different alternative to tissue paper. There's some old patterns that shouldn't be repeated, so go ahead and use them for gift wrapping! You can find some large pieces of tissue in old patterns as well, especially if the pattern was never cut up and used.

Here's a sneak peak at a couple of the stockings that I am working on! I've got 16 finished and will be having an photo shoot and listing them this week.

The adornment is made on a brooch pin / clip and can be removed or changed out.
