New Western Rope and Farm House Style Wreaths

It's been a while since I've made any new rope wreaths. Honestly my used rope supply has been very limited until recently. We went on a junk pickin' trip a few weeks ago and found a huge pile of used lassos in a shed, so we are back in wreath making business! I've started with a few summer wreaths that can easily transition into fall, such as this sunflower rope wreath. 

 This lasso has a fall feel about it with an assortment of Autumn flowers, gourds, pumpkins, and burlap. There's some glittery gold branches that add a bit of sparkle and glitter and grit touch.

 This rope wreath will add a touch of elegance to your western home decor! Deep red peonies and turquoise blue hydrangeas and burlap ribbon give this lasso a classy appearance.

 This rope wreath can definitely transition from summer to fall (or honestly be used almost year round) with the red and yellow sunflowers. A few blue flowers are included along with an assortment of greenery.

 Glitter and Grit! This is a fall lasso wreath with rich colors, textures, and flowers, along with the orange glitter branches. Peonies, sunflowers, burnt orange dahlias, a burlap sunflower, cattail, and fall leaves are abundant on the rope.

Now the next wreaths are made on grapevine wreath bases instead of ropes, although they still have  a rustic, farmhouse look. The first wreath is a smaller style with gold burlap sunflowers, fall berries, and cotton. 

This is a larger grapevine wreath in creams and white, so it's great for your neutral farmhouse colors. It has cotton, cream silk peonies and white burlap peony and assorted greenery and foliage. I have several customers who like to send this style wreath for a sympathy tribute that the family can take home after the service. I try to keep a few of this style wreath made up for local deliveries that need to be made on short notice. Of course, it can also be shipped as well.

New Rustic Rope Christmas Wreaths

Y'all, it's only 89 days till Christmas! Say what??? 

This weekend, on facebook, I saw someone sharing only 90 sleeps till Christmas eve... 

This year is been flying by! Anywho, Christmas will be here before we know it and now is the time to start gathering up your Christmas decorating essentials. There just happens to be several new Christmas rope wreaths available in my shop now! 

The lasso wreaths are all one of a kind. This one features a rustic bell Christmas tree, snow covered greenery, along with a burlap bow, holly, and pine cones. 

A couple of different wreaths have the jute webbing, Christmas greenery, horse shoes, and pheasant feathers.

 A little glitter and grit - Gold glitttery Merry Christmas signs adorn several of the rustic wreaths.

 Another bell Christmas tree. I only have one of these trees left (and its a different size,) so there won't be any duplications of the wreaths with the metal tree.

 The rope is intertwined among the Christmas greenery and red burlap poinsettias for this wreath.

The Cowboy Santa will be going to the Backwood's Marketplace event, November 19-20. 

 When I got in ropes this time, there was several red colored ones and they are perfect for Christmas! Red berries and a burlap bow, also accents this lasso.

Have a Merry Cowboy Christmas! A rustic, hand painted sign, horse shoes, the city marshal's badge, pheasant feathers, berries and assorted Christmas foliage make up this wreath.

I've been working on several new wreaths for my shop inventory this week. The Howdy Rope Wreath has been a customer favorite and I have made a few of those in different colors along with some one of a kind, rustic, elegant grapevine wreaths and one for the bird watcher / enthusiast.

For my local customers and friends - this wreath can be displayed on an easel and delivered to the local funeral homes or churches. New Rustic Home Decor Items!

I'm still in the process of restocking my etsy shop with lots of new items. So far, I have loaded all the new pillows and some spring wreaths. I've got to make sure I have big enough boxes for some of the items. 

The vintage style trucks are a new addition to my shop and look good "Pulling" a glamper! There are red, white, turquoise and aqua (jade) trucks and several colors of camper pillows. 

Also new is an assortment of blue ticking pillows. Some have lace trim, while some do not.

There's also several rustic rope wreaths with spring flowers on them. This one has an assortment of spring and summer flowers in bright colors. 

This grapevine wreath is dressed in purple gerbera daisies and turquoise for a fun spring arrangement.

This tent was primarily Angea's Rooster Tail items, but we hung the red, white, and blue ticking pennant banner on the front of it, while we were set up at the Backwoods Marketplace. 

As you can see, the flag banner will stretch across the front of a 10 foot pop up canopy, so this pennant will add a vintage Americana flair to your Memorial Day and Fourth of July festivities.

Christmas Time is Coming!

I've been trying to wait till November to really start talking about Christmas! So, now I'm excited to share a few new items in my etsy shop!

There's an eclectic mix of items from rustic lariat rope Christmas wreaths and cowboys and cactus pillow covers to shabby chic / French Country pillows and tote bags, and gold glittery bird cage centerpieces featured in this round. Still in production and in need of being photographed are new burlap stockings and additional pillows and totes, so check back soon for those!

Also, for anyone local, I will be set up with Gussie the Glamper at the Starry Nights Art Studio and Vintage Rose Venues for a holiday open house on November 21st. Angea, with Rooster Tails will again be joining me with her handmade items and we are excited about this opportunity to set up together with Christmas items (and maybe a few last minute Thanksgiving decorating sale items.) I'll be sharing more details soon, but mark your calendars now!

There are several rope Christmas wreaths with an assortment of Christmas greenery, pine cones, and berries. Some feature a burlap bow and poinsettias, all while keeping with a rustic, country theme, perfect for your western home decor. 

How about a little turquoise and red? Y'all knew I would have some turquoise thrown in to Christmas, right?

Who's loving plaid this year? I like it most all the time, but the trend setters seem to say that its "in" this year. I'm also loving these Christmas camper / glamper tote bags! The camper is "parked" by a decorated Christmas tree. The totes are great for a stand alone gift or you can use them as a gift sack for the glamping friend of yours!

This glamper sports some green fringe, because if loving fringe is wrong, we don't want to be right! 

I have several different centerpieces made in gold glittery bird cages. Each arrangement comes with Christmas greenery and a battery powered votive candle and can be set flat on a table or used as a hanging arrangement. 

This birdcage has a gold glitter owl nestled among the Christmas greenery and berries. There's even a little mistletoe included, if you want to strategically hang this arrangement where you want a kiss! 

This arrangement is very nature inspired with the plaid bow, pheasant feathers and berries. 

Here's a couple of the other ones and you'll notice the pillows in the background. They are actually pillow covers that will fit your 18 inch pillow form or freshen up your old pillows before your holiday guest arrive! There is a coral / rustic red damask print and the "Giddy Up" pillows featuring cowboys and cactus. 

Now, for a shabbier, French country look! This is a small zipper bag that would be a great makeup bag, pencil case, organizing items in your purse, you name it. I  love the quote by e.h. - "What if I fall? Oh, but my darling, what if you FLY? This bag features a heart with wings, with a vintage lace doily forming the heart.

 Here's a gift giving idea - use the bag as your gift wrap and include a pillow and pillow covers. Vintage pattern paper serves as a fun and different alternative to tissue paper. There's some old patterns that shouldn't be repeated, so go ahead and use them for gift wrapping! You can find some large pieces of tissue in old patterns as well, especially if the pattern was never cut up and used.

Here's a sneak peak at a couple of the stockings that I am working on! I've got 16 finished and will be having an photo shoot and listing them this week.

The adornment is made on a brooch pin / clip and can be removed or changed out.
