Spring, Camper and Shop Update

It's a beautiful Saturday, ahead of another round of winter weather headed our way tomorrow. Ol' Man Winter, it's time for you to go away!

The daffodils are blooming, yet winter damaged the tulip trees. I've always intended to photograph the tulip tree blooms, yet time slips away before I do. Ahead of the freeze this week, I stopped in town and snapped a few pictures.

It's been an extremely busy wedding season as many brides are planning spring and summer weddings.

This was a mixed flower burlap bridal bouquet.

I've been so excited about Sarah's wedding colors. As we discussed details, she ask what I though about ivory, gray, and turquoise. My response "I think it will be elegant together." I had the gray burlap and turquoise feathers on hand, but never had a request for them. She later told me her wedding theme was "country sheek, done elegantly" and we designed this bouquet for her bridesmaids to carry. Clusters of rhinestones and pearls accent the center of each rose.

Today, I took a break and headed to the camper, while waiting on the mail to pick up a box with these yellow and royal blue bridesmaid bouquets.

I decided to eat my lunch in the Arrowhead. Cheese, peanut butter, crackers, and a glass of tea. Fancy, smancy right there!

I told my friends I was looking for a little table and less than two hours later they delivered this perfect little chippy, peely, sewing table rescued from the side of the road!

As I waited for the mail, I did a little cleaning and rat poo removal. I hope that's all gone now! These three friends helped me out.

I ripped out the carpet. It was only cut to fit and was dirty, nasty, and stinky. I mopped the floor and then decided to take a five minute break to dream. Look close and you'll notice the floor looks better without the carpet.

Now it's back to work... Cows to feed and lots more bouquets to make! I'll leave you with my favorite sunset shots from this week. Hope everyone stays warm as we wait for springs arrival.
