My Favorite Rustic Burlap Wedding Bouquets

As 2015 is coming to a close, I'm looking back at some of my favorite rustic burlap wedding bouquets of the year. After some time off for the holidays, I am ready and excited to get back into wedding season!

The white burlap, lace and feather bouquet is always a favorite of mine and yours too it seems, as there have been many request to duplicate this bridal bouquet.

The butter yellow and turquoise bride's bouquet with lots of vintage lace, doilies, pearls and rhinestones, was requested after the bride to be saw a similar bouquet in pink and white.

There were several variations of the red, white and blue bouquets and I liked this picture with the boots and vintage wedding dress.

I love sunflowers and this set of bridesmaid bouquets! A single sunflower was surrounded by tan burlap roses, accented with pearls and tufts of lace.

The navy burlap bouquet was a very popular choice in my etsy shop this year and one was shipped to Italy!

I love the neutral burlap colors and this bouquet with cotton in it.

I tend to personally like the neutral colors or just a splash of color and that seems to be the way I dress as well. I can throw on a turquoise necklace and earrings and match almost everything in my closet! The jade (or light turquoise) burlap was a popular choice for weddings this year and I'm convinced turquoise can be paired with almost any color!

This jade bridal bouquet had lots of bling in it and the photo albums made great wedding gifts.

The blush pink burlap roses were substituted for the brown ones in this variation of the above bouquet.

Another variation with jade, was the sola flower bouquet. The bride chose the turquoise, tan and cream flowers, while the bridesmaid bouquets had brown burlap roses.

Of course I had to include this bouquet in my favorites, because it traveled all the way to Australia! Vintage book pages were tucked among the flowers and lace.
Bahama turquoise and plum are the brides colors for this 2016 wedding. The hanging flowers balls took lots more time to create than I expected, but I loved how they turned out! They are building a pergola and these will be hanging from it, to create the backdrop for the wedding ceremony.

Sabrina's wedding bouquet (their wedding was recently  featured) was something different and one of my favorites. I plan to include more of this style in my shop in the coming year. I did another wedding that was very similar to this one, although the handle of the bouquet holder was covered in rhinestones.

This was a rush order over the summer and the black roses created a pop against the jade and natural colors. (Rush orders are available, so if you are worried about the time frame, please send me a message and I'll try my best to accommodate your needs!)

Coral and navy were both popular colors and here the two colors are paired together.

I photographed these camo and orange bouquets out by our creek and can just imagine the woodsy outdoor look of the wedding, the bride and groom were planning.

I like to call this bouquet the "Rhinestone Cowgirl."  What cowgirl doesn't like turquoise, rhinestones and feathers?!? Of course any color combination can be used to create a similar bouquet.

Red roses are always a romantic touch and sign of love, wouldn't you say?

During the spring, lavender was a popular wedding color.

I love the neutral colors and how they can be used with almost any wedding color combinations or work with a wide variety of bridesmaid dress colors. No fear of the colors clashing and it takes on a very rustic, vintage feel.

Of course, this turquoise burlap bouquet is hands down one of my customer favorites and mine too!
Rustic Americana bouquet with pip berries was another take on the red, white and blue wedding flowers,  using a vintage maroon and navy burlap.

Everyone in this wedding party was going to wear pink converse shoes and carry pink, red, tan and white burlap and feather bouquets! A winery was going to be the location for the event.

Sunflowers and burlap are always a favorite when paired with lace and pearls, perfect for the vintage farm wedding!

Gold toned brooches and ivory lace made this rustic bouquet a bit glamorous and had a very vintage look.

I remember there being snow on the ground when I was ready to take the pictures of this lavender and purple order, so I used my dress form to stage my pictures in the camper.

Out of all the color combinations, which is your favorite? I can't seemed to narrow it down very easily!

It has been a pleasure working with so many wonderful brides this year and I can't wait to see what 2016 has to offer! I would be happy to create something for your wedding or events in the coming year. With almost 40 colors of burlap in stock, I can create custom bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages to match many color schemes. You can contact me through my etsy shop or email me for more information or to place a custom order. If there's something you have in mind, but don't see it, please ask!  I would be happy to help bring your vision to life and create your dream wedding bouquet!

New Rustic Wedding Bouquets and Gypsy Boho Ankle Boots

I recently added a few new and one of a kind rustic wedding bouquets to my shop. All of the bouquets pictured are currently in stock and  ready to ship (usually next business day after purchase.)

First up is a rustic tan, chocolate brown and creamy white burlap bouquet. Vintage style hydrangea blooms are tucked among the roses, along with tufts of lace.

True Timber Snowfall Camo Satin fabric flowers are the focal point of this bridal bouquet, perfect for the elegant, camo, outdoors / hunting themed wedding. The rustic, woodsy bouquet has tan and brown burlap roses, pearl accents  and  white lace. When a customer requested this snowfall camo bouquet with turquoise roses, I had to admit that I had never seen the white camouflage before.

Boots and Bouquets! Along with the new bouquets, I created two pair of ankle boots with gypsy, boho boot cuffs. I repurposed black cowgirl boots into ankle boots and then added the denim and lace cuff, hand-cut leather fringe and upcycled leather belts.

Very vintage, shabby chic lace flowers, burlap roses and brooches create this one of a kind bouquet. A natural color scheme is perfect for your vintage inspired wedding.

One of the most requested color combinations in my shop - this turquoise burlap bouquet is ready to ship, without having to wait for a custom bouquet.

This is the first pair of ankle boots that I made from a pair of black ostrich boots. I found the boots at a sale and give them a makeover. I had a hard time deciding if I should list the boots or not, because I sort of want to keep them for myself!

I can always recreate similar bouquets or coordinating bridesmaid bouquets and boutonnieres for the men, along with corsages and head bands. Of course, there may have to be some substitutions for the vintage lace and jewels. Please message me through etsy with any questions or for custom order request.  (Sometimes I don't get blog comment notifications, so please message through etsy or send a direct email to me.)

New Brooch Bouquets, Headbands and Wildflowers

The last few weeks have seemed like a whirlwind of events and happenings going on. I was away from the studio aka the "burlap factory" for several days this week and was excited and motivated to get back to work this weekend! There are a few new wedding bouquets with brooches, vintage lace flowers and burlap roses, along with several styles of rustic, boho headbands now available for immediate shipping.

Vintage Lace Flower Bridal Bouquet

All the new items are one of a kind arrangements. It's a fun scavenger hunt gathering unique brooches, vintage jewelry pieces and vintage lace, so no two items are just alike! Neutral cream, white and tan colors comprise the first bouquet along with gold and pearl toned jewels.

I've gathered a collection of turquoise / aqua / pool blue jewelry pieces to include in this brooch bouquet.

There's also small turquoise crotchet lace flowers with pearl centers in the bouquet.

Several styles of vintage ivory lace flowers are tucked among the burlap roses and jewels.

Another new set of items is these rustic, boho chic headbands! I really need a model to display the hair pieces. Each one is attached to a long lace ribbon and can be tied to your desired fit. Some have birdcage veil material, feathers, pearls, ribbon roses and of course lots of vintage lace and bling. There's also a hidden piece of blue lace on the back side of the light colored head bands, so you will have your Something Blue for your wedding day.

The wildflowers have been gorgeous the last couple weeks and I can't help but snap a few pictures while I'm out and about, so I'll leave you with a few of my favorite pics.
Always Radiate Sunshine! Have a great week y'all!

Blush Pink Burlap Wedding Bouquets and New Items!

Hey Y'all! May has been an extremely busy month and I haven't stopped to blog all about it. I promise to catch up with all the happenings and a camper reveal party is coming soon!

I made several new pieces and listed them in my shop today. First up is the pretty blush burlap bouquet. Several types of blush and ivory lace is nestled among the pink, tan, and cream burlap roses.

Blush pink has been  a popular wedding color this year and I love the rustic romantic feel to it.
There is also a new lace head band that matches the bridal bouquet.
Speaking of blush weddings - I got to play with fresh flowers on a recent wedding! It was the first time I had worked with fresh flowers, since I left the flower shop before Christmas.
The Ebenezer Friendship Church was the location for the wedding and the church colors worked great with the bride's blush and burlap theme. When we saw this old rustic sign out behind the church, we knew we had to photograph it somehow! So here's the soft blush and white corsage that was made for the officiant.
The bride to be wanted arrangements flanking the doors, so that when she walked down the isle, there would be flowers in her pictures. Two arrangements consisted of hydrangeas, snapdragons, stock, larkspur, buttons and alstromeria and assorted greenery. The bride said she didn't like roses, so none were used in her decorations.

The bride decorated the arch herself, while complimentary fresh flowers were place on the two rustic candelabras.

Now, back to a few more new items in my shop - A birdcage veil attached to a hair comb with small burlap and lace flowers.

Ivory lace head band with a couple rustic flowers and rhinestone button would be great for the flower girl to wear (or could be used as a garter.)
This bird cage veil is large than the other one and comes with whispy white feathers.
White feathers, pearls, rhinestones and ribbon roses are nestled among the white sheer ribbon and tulle and attached to a beaded wristlet. This wrist corsage would be great for a bridal or baby shower, prom or wedding. I can always add burlap roses in your colors, if you would prefer that option.

All of the burlap items are now available in my shop and are available for immediate shipping! Custom orders are always available and I would be happy to help you create your dream wedding bouquets!
