Hey Y'all! I know I haven't blogged much lately, but I wanted to stop in and tell you about a few things. We've been as busy as ever, this year and haven't set down long enough at our computer to write many blogpost (sure wish I could easily blog from my phone, like we used to.) 

We have brought back the Tee of the Week special on our website (not on etsy.) We had the tee of the week special earlier in the year and it went away during the summer, but we are excited to bring it back for the foreseeable future. Watch our Facebook and Instagram pages to see the current featured tee. You can actually shop from both our facebook or instagram shop now, by simply tapping the picture (when we have the product tagged in the picture.) On our website, go to the menu and scroll down till you see the Tee of the Week option. The special will expire on Saturday night and a new tee will be announced by Monday of each week (hint: if you check the website on Sunday evenings, you may get a jump on the sale.) 

If we have the featured tee in our space at Kickin' K Cattle Co Boutique in Quitman, you can show the weekly sale graphic to them and they will honor the sale. The sale is not advertised in the store, so you must tell them about it. 

We have been adding lots of new tee shirt designs to our website as well, so make sure you check on all the new releases. Here's just a few of them! 

This design is special to me - I had a request for a tee with a longhorn cow. I looked for longhorn graphics, but couldn't find any that tickled my fancy. That's when we recalled taking pictures of Longhorn along the Ennis Bluebonnet Trails in 2011 or 12, so we took the picture, edited it, and worked it onto a new, original design. 

I know it is short notice here, but we will be at the Christmas Bazaar at the Gilmer First Methodist Church on November 7, 2020 from 9-4 in the gymnasium. 

Here's a little more notice for our last scheduled show of the year - On December 5. 2020 we will be at the Gilmer Yulefest and I will have Miss Gussie my camper there. (Yulefest will be modified from previous years, so not sure the exact time or where we will be parked yet. For the Yulefest event, by nephew and owner of Jake's Jigs will be joining us! Jake is just 14, wants to be a pro fisher, has won several 4-H virtual fishing tournaments and makes all his jigs. 

Other than these two shows on the calendar, we have a few weddings and events to create flowers for. Our website and etsy shop remain open and shipping daily. As always, for local customers, I can meet or deliver, if needed. We so appreciate all of you who have supported us over the years. You're the best! 

Dear Santa, I've Made my Christmas Wish List!

Dear Santa,

I hope you are having a really good year. We are doing good and I've been wearing my Santa flannel shirts for a while now. I don't think you've stopped by our house since I got out of school. I usually don't ask for anything for Christmas, although this year, there are several things on my wish list. Clothing - 

These Junk Gypsy Boots are pretty awesome! Not sure exactly what I would wear with them, but I love them and can we say Fringe! Size 8 please.

An old red truck, with a load of flowers... well that's just about perfect for me!


A Flower Truck T-Shirt...Love

Remember our shenanigans in the Junkin' Sisters Tribe and the funny graphic Charity Sparrow created? Well, she's got it on a shirt now! More Chickens and Rust. Less Drama and Fuss. I would take a medium in unisex size, as I hear the women's shirts are really fitted.

You may recall my search for the perfect dress - modest but cute and trendy, not have to wear leggings or show my white legs, can wear my boots, and has pockets? I think I finally found it in this long sleeve, vintage floral maxi dress!  It comes in several colors, although I like this navy blue. Of course, now I don't know of any events I'll be attending to need the dress, although it couldn't hurt to have it on standby.


For the House -
Alright Santa, I've just recently started drinking coffee and I really want to try one of the Keurig single serve coffee pots... it looks like it takes up less counter space than the bigger versions so that would be nice for our small house. Jeff has his perk pot and blends several types of coffee together, but I just want to make me a single cup when I want it.

We really need some new kitchen towels, as our are getting threadbare and I think this one applies for when I'm hungry. Poor Jeff!







These camper towels are just too cute as well.



And of course, I love this towel that says Support Your Local Farmers!


We could use a few new bath towels, as several of ours have made there way to the farm, used for the dogs, and used to clean up after DIY jobs outside. Turquoise or brown would be lovely and match my shower curtain.




For the Yard / Outdoors / Work

While browsing Amazon, I found this 20 pack of succulents and I really need to replant my vintage chicken feeder and wagon with succulents. Having some plants growing in the winter time would sure cheer me up!


I could really use a new set of drill bits, since I have a way of breaking them... I've been looking at estate sales, but I've yet to find an assortment pack to replace my broken ones.

I always need a good pair of fabric scissors and these are my favorites!
Planning for 2018

I'm really wanting to be more organized in the new year and keep track of all my business in one planner. I like this Leather A5 planner, because I can add pages to it and want to keep up with all my notes from wedding consultations together. So that when I have a meeting in January, I can find my notes in November. I can keep up with my calendar and add blank pages for notes each month. I've been searching for a rustic looking planner, because I'm not into polka dots, chevron print, or some of the other crazy patterns I've been seeing. (P.S. Someone in Santa's workshop really needs to get on board with some rustic planner accessories. I think that market needs some help.)


I like the color of this leather planner and that its handmade, although I really wish the pockets were sewn in, since I stuff all kinds of receipts and extra papers in mine.

A Rustic Christmas - Gift and Decor Ideas!

Have yourself a Merry Little Rustic Christmas! Several new items just hit my etsy shop this week, including new Christmas decor and many giftable items! 

 The heart with wings pillows and the "What if I fall? Oh, but my darling, what if you Fly? e.h." pillows have been restocked, along with a couple new cross pillows.

 There are burlap stockings that are customizable, with either a  red burlap, lace, plaid or camouflage ribbon sash

 I had one customer tell me she was going to tie duck calls or shotgun shells in with the sash and another was on the search for wooden initials to personalize the stockings.

I found a couple more rope wreaths that I had not listed in my shop, so they are now available as well!

 I love this Sleigh Centerpiece, filled with red poinsettias, berries, holly, pinecones and Christmas greenery, along with gold ornaments and ribbon. While I love to mix it up and do other colors for Christmas, you just can't go wrong with the traditional red and gold!

 For that coworker, friend, hair dresser, mail lady, holiday hostess or  person who you don't know exactly what to get - How about a twinkling wine bottle lamp light? Each wine bottle has been transformed into a lamp with 20 twinkling lights and an original lamp shade. These would look great sitting on a cabinet, along with a collection of your favorite wine bottles and add a soft glow to the room.

 For the Dreamer! Vintage lace and doily dream catcher with white feathers.

 I have several styles of rustic gift sacks to wrap the perfect gift in! A hand cut and inked gift tag, bow and tissue paper comes with each sack, all you need is something to go inside them! They will ship free with as additional item from my shop!

You can add a card or small item inside the pocket as well!

Don't forget to look around while you shop! There are several styles of birdcage centerpieces, more stockings and lots of different pillows. 

 There is the Camper / Glamper pillows and totes in many colors.

 The tote bags also make great gift sacks as well. I would love to spend the holidays with my camper, parked by a huge Christmas tree and exploring somewhere new!
