Turquoise burlap and lace wedding flowers

Earlier in the summer, I made a set of turquoise burlap boutonnieres for an August wedding. Not long ago, the bride messaged me through my etsy shop and ask if I could please call her.

My first thought was "is something wrong with them," then I remembered her wedding date and thought maybe she needed to order something else. I called her and she was panicked. She had ordered her bouquets from that big website that starts with an A, way back in June and her order was cancelled in August and she wondered if there any possible way I could help her? 

I reassured her that I could get them made in time and not to worry!

We finished up her order and shipped it off to Arizona this week, with a few weeks still to go before her wedding. Her wedding deadline was longer than my current turn around time on orders, so I was able to complete the bouquets, without it even being considered a rush order. (The bride wanted a small bouquet with turquoise, tan, and brown flowers and white lace, She had a toss bouquet to coordinate, while all of the bridesmaids will carry a 6 rose bouquet with tan and brown burlap roses.) 

Coral: The 2019 Color of the Year and How to Incorporate it into Your Wedding

 The 2019 Pantone Color of the Year is Living Coral.

Coral has been a oft requested color in wedding bouquets and the following pictures show a few different color combinations and ways to include coral with your wedding flowers. 

This first picture shows a bridal bouquet with coral, Idaho potato, and white burlap roses with bling, feathers, lace, and coral tulle. There is also a small bridesmaid bouquet, pin on corsage, and boutonnieres. 

Turquoise and Coral is a happy and fun color combination! (I have several shades of turquoise that can be used with the coral.) 

 This shows a bridal bouquet (top), small and medium bridesmaids bouquets and a turquoise rose boutonniere. 

Natural and rustic - coral was combined with tan, cream, and chocolate brown in this bouquet. Tufts of lace, tulle, and pearls accent the flowers. 

Navy has been a favorite wedding color for the past couple of years and combining it with coral is another pretty option. 

 This wedding had a neutral colored bridal bouquet and the boutonnieres for the men in the wedding party incorporated the coral. I also made individual roses for them to decorate with.

Customer Wedding Pictures!

Janet was a recent wedding customer and we created a custom burlap bouquet for her.and boutonnieres for the men in the wedding party. She wanted a turquoise burlap bridal bouquet with something flowy and draping out of it. We discussed ideas and we decided on adding cascading greenery to the bouquet. Last week, she sent me a few pictures from their California wedding!

Cheri and Joseph's Wedding

Cheri and Joseph's Wedding 

Cheri and Joseph were married in June at Hurlburt Field Church on the air force base in Florida and she recently shared pictures from their wedding! 

The gorgeous bride carried a burlap and lace bouquet with robin's egg blue, natural tan, and white burlap roses. The handle of the bouquet holder was covered in raffia and turquoise ribbon was braided over the handle. The groom and his son wore a matching burlap boutonniere. 

Cheri was a wonderful bride to work with and I send my congratulations and best wishes to your family and hope you have a happy and wonderful life together! Also, we thank you for your families service to our country!

RaLeigh's Wedding Pictures

I love when my customers send pictures from their wedding! RaLeigh sent a couple pictures from her recent wedding. Isn't she a beautiful bride, with a very pretty lace dress?!?  

 RaLeigh is carrying a navy burlap bouquet. These were a few pictures before she walked down the aisle and she said "I loved my flowers that you made ! Thanks again!!"

Alex and J.D.'s Navy Burlap and Lace Wedding

Alex was a recent wedding customer and shared pictures from her rustic, burlap and lace wedding with me this week!  For her bridal bouquet, Alex carried the navy burlap and lace bridal bouquet, while the bridesmaids carried small bouquets of tan and white burlap roses. The men had navy burlap boutonnieres. 

 Congratulations to the Bride and Groom! Thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day and for sharing pictures with me. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together!

Blush Pink Burlap Wedding Bouquets and New Items!

Hey Y'all! May has been an extremely busy month and I haven't stopped to blog all about it. I promise to catch up with all the happenings and a camper reveal party is coming soon! 

I made several new pieces and listed them in my shop today. First up is the pretty blush burlap bouquet. Several types of blush and ivory lace is nestled among the pink, tan, and cream burlap roses. 

Blush pink has been  a popular wedding color this year and I love the rustic romantic feel to it. 

 There is also a new lace head band that matches the bridal bouquet.

 Speaking of blush weddings - I got to play with fresh flowers on a recent wedding! It was the first time I had worked with fresh flowers, since I left the flower shop before Christmas.

The Ebenezer Friendship Church was the location for the wedding and the church colors worked great with the bride's blush and burlap theme. When we saw this old rustic sign out behind the church, we knew we had to photograph it somehow! So here's the soft blush and white corsage that was made for the officiant. 

 The bride to be wanted arrangements flanking the doors, so that when she walked down the isle, there would be flowers in her pictures. Two arrangements consisted of hydrangeas, snapdragons, stock, larkspur, buttons and alstromeria and assorted greenery. The bride said she didn't like roses, so none were used in her decorations.

 The bride decorated the arch herself, while complimentary fresh flowers were place on the two rustic candelabras.

Now, back to a few more new items in my shop - A birdcage veil attached to a hair comb with small burlap and lace flowers. 

 Ivory lace head band with a couple rustic flowers and rhinestone button would be great for the flower girl to wear (or could be used as a garter.)

 This bird cage veil is large than the other one and comes with whispy white feathers.

 White feathers, pearls, rhinestones and ribbon roses are nestled among the white sheer ribbon and tulle and attached to a beaded wristlet. This wrist corsage would be great for a bridal or baby shower, prom or wedding. I can always add burlap roses in your colors, if you would prefer that option.
