Christmas in the Gazebo

I always love decorating the gazebo for Christmas!

Garden themed Christmas decorations

Christmas decorating usually comes around the time of first frost here, so it's time to clean up the yard and give it a more lively look. New lights always help! We leave the lights up all year round and it's been dark the last few weeks, therefore it was time. After Christmas I call the "fairy lights" or "party lights"! 😉

Enamel pans used to create a snowman

We prefer our Dish Pan Snowman, since it won't melt and it doesn't have to be freezing cold and yucky to have a snowman! Win-win, right?!?

Cleaning up the yard, there where a few watering cans that needed to be put away for winter, but I decided to hang them on the tree instead!

I added a few burlap poinsettias, twigs, and a red check bow and the tallest tree was decorated! I'm all about keeping it pretty simple this year  - we are on a cleaning spree and these items were all laying around in my workroom, so on the tree they went.

The old crock and water cooler became tree stands! The rest of the trees are just prelit trees I've picked up at thrift stores over the past few years. I took the plastic stands off and they set down in the old containers.

The bicycle basket (actually a gym locker basket) needed something. Usually I add fresh greenery or a plant, but I've been sick and just haven't gone to the woods to trim trees... Now back to the cleaning and decluttering my workroom - one garland sitting in the floor, a sign, and a scrap piece of ribbon made their way to the basket!

Christmas garden decor

There you have it, simple Christmas decor in the yard and gazebo, using items found and repurposed. If you're new around here and haven't read the story of our gazebo, you should go back and see some of the old post - the gazebo was really and truly rescued from a trash ditch and we've had fun giving it a makeover the last few years. The only thing that is ever purchased new is the lights.

Santa Claus in Watching You!

Santa Claus is watching you! Are you on his naughty or nice list???

I am loving these flannel shirts with Santa Claus on the back of them! There's just something extra comfy about flannels and add a vintage Santa... well what's more Christmasy than that?

Santa is also ready to decorate your Yeti style stainless steel tumblers for the holidays! Add a fun wrap so you don't loose your drink or tumbler at the Christmas parties. My cup goes everywhere with me - I forgot it one day and felt so lost without it!

The elves at GypsyFarmGirl have been busy cutting out rusty tin signs as well! After several request for tin Christmas signs, I have created several stockings and Christmas trees.

Some have Merry Christmas painted on them, while others are awaiting personalization. I can add a name or sentiment to the stockings for you. These would look good on a door with your families last name or hanging from a mantle with individual names. (Please send a custom request if you need a larger quantity .)

These signs could be added in a wreath or if you are like me and have a narrow space between your storm / screen door and interior door, they can substitute for a wreath. We only have a couple inches between the two doors and have to get creative for door decor.

Dear Santa, Give me the junk.

I promise I've been good girl this year and would love a truck load of fun junk to work on and repurpose next year!

This shirt is SUPER comfy, broke in, soft, and distressed... like I really want to keep it! It goes great with skinny jeans and boots.

These Santa flannels are all in my shop now. If you see another flannel you prefer, please message me and I can add a Santa to a different size, just for you.

Remember when we were kids and we were always told mom had eyes in the back of her head and could see everything? Well, now you can have Santa's eyes keeping watch for you!

P.S. The first Santa flannels sold out quickly, so grab them up while you can! They are available in my etsy shop for worldwide shipping or some will be stocked at our Uniques and Antiques booth in Mineola by the weekend.

Y'all, it's only 89 days till Christmas! Say what???
This weekend, on facebook, I saw someone sharing only 90 sleeps till Christmas eve...
This year is been flying by! Anywho, Christmas will be here before we know it and now is the time to start gathering up your Christmas decorating essentials. There just happens to be several new Christmas rope wreaths available in my shop now

The lasso wreaths are all one of a kind. This one features a rustic bell Christmas tree, snow covered greenery, along with a burlap bow, holly, and pine cones.

A little glitter and grit - Gold glitttery Merry Christmas signs adorn several of the rustic wreaths.

Another bell Christmas tree. I only have one of these trees left (and its a different size,) so there won't be any duplications of the wreaths with the metal tree.

The rope is intertwined among the Christmas greenery and red burlap poinsettias for this wreath.

The stockings were hung...

The stockings were hung by the CAMPER with care!

Sadly, we don't have a chimney or fireplace at home to hang the stockings by. Sure wish I had a mantle to decorate though. Anywho, lots of stockings have been shipping or delivered and the pic above and below were both from a custom order going to one location. Red burlap sash for the boys, lace for the girls!

So, for all of you who ordered stockings, I would love to see where you hang them! Please share a picture of your mantle, wall, etc where you decorate!

Please tag me on Instagram or Twitter @gypsyfarmgirl #gypsyfarmgirl or you can post on my Facebook page!

P.S. This set of stockings is still available and I can customize if you would like. Also have a couple more of the hemmed stockings with optional sashes and I can make more.

A Rustic Christmas - Gift and Decor Ideas!

Have yourself a Merry Little Rustic Christmas! Several new items just hit my etsy shop this week, including new Christmas decor and many giftable items!

Burlap stockings and pillows
The heart with wings pillows and the "What if I fall? Oh, but my darling, what if you Fly? e.h." pillows have been restocked, along with a couple new cross pillows.
There are burlap stockings that are customizable, with either a  red burlap, lace, plaid or camouflage ribbon sash

I had one customer tell me she was going to tie duck calls or shotgun shells in with the sash and another was on the search for wooden initials to personalize the stockings.

I found a couple more rope wreaths that I had not listed in my shop, so they are now available as well!

I love this Sleigh Centerpiece, filled with red poinsettias, berries, holly, pinecones and Christmas greenery, along with gold ornaments and ribbon. While I love to mix it up and do other colors for Christmas, you just can't go wrong with the traditional red and gold!
